DGS Construction Company is looking to hire Carpenters, Carpenter Apprentices, and Carpenters Helpers for projects in Burnaby.

Responsibilities:

- Assist Site Superintendent with various tasks, such as layout, measuring, planning sequences, and methods of work

- Comprehend and understand drawings

- Ensure safe work procedures are understood and followed, and work in a clean and organized manner

- Perform tasks such as framing and forming on schedule and meet deadlines

Requirements:

- Red Seal, or currently enrolled or working towards an apprenticeship program, or experienced





- Previous experience assisting carpenters

- Comfortable in all aspects of carpentry

- Possession of own hand tools, comfortable with power tools

- Must understand site safety and fall protection, committed to ensuring a safe workplace

- Background in commercial or institutional construction is preferred
