Class 1 Driver – Live-Bottom Experience

We are hiring an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will safely haul and unload materials using live-bottom trailers while providing dependable, professional service on every job.

Responsibilities

- Operate tractor-trailer and live-bottom equipment safely and efficiently
- Haul aggregate, asphalt, soil, and other construction materials
- Load, secure, transport, and unload materials at designated locations
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery tickets, and inspection records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and equipment operators
- Keep equipment clean and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Follow transportation regulations and all company and jobsite safety procedures

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 driver’s licence with a clean or acceptable driver’s abstract
- Proven experience operating live-bottom trailers
- Solid backing, maneuvering,



and jobsite driving skills
- Knowledge of load limits, weight distribution, and cargo-securement requirements
- Able to work extended hours, early mornings, weekends, and overtime when required
- Comfortable working outdoors and around active construction sites
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and professional
- Experience hauling aggregate or asphalt is considered an asset
