Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals in various care settings. As a vital member of our caregiving team, you will support clients with daily activities, monitor their health, and promote their well-being. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Support medication administration and ensure adherence to care plans developed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties, including laundry, sanitation, and organizing personal spaces
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and respectful relationship
- Document all care activities thoroughly, including patient observations, medication logs, and incident reports





Requirements

- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent credential
- Experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
- Proficiency in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and recognizing signs of distress or deterioration
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when required
- CPR and First Aid certification are essential; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance are preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
