About the Role

Our skilled labourers support underground servicing, excavation, grading and site-development work on projects typically located within one hour of Orangeville. This is a hands-on field role for someone who understands construction sites, takes initiative and can complete assigned work safely without constant supervision.

- Typical hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, subject to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Support excavation, sewer and watermain, grading and site-servicing crews.
- Check grades and elevations using lasers, grade rods or GPS equipment.
- Prepare tools, materials, fittings and work areas for upcoming tasks.
- Assist with pipe installation, compaction,



backfilling and site restoration.
- Operate small tools and compaction equipment safely.
- Help identify site issues and work with the crew to solve practical problems.
- Maintain an organized jobsite and protect completed work and surrounding property.
- Follow company safety procedures and participate in required training.

What We Look For

- At least five years of skilled-labour experience in excavation, civil construction or site servicing.
- Ability to read plans and understand grades; Trimble GPS experience is a strong asset.
- Strong practical skills and familiarity with construction tools and materials.
- Ability to follow direction and complete assigned work independently.
- Physical ability to perform demanding outdoor construction work.
- Clear communication, dependable attendance and a safety-focused attitude.
- Valid Ontario G licence and reliable transportation.
