Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight efficiently and on schedule
- Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts and heavy machinery when necessary
- Verify delivery orders, inspect freight for damage, and ensure accurate documentation
- Navigate routes effectively using GPS or maps, adjusting plans as needed for traffic or weather conditions
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal performance
- Communicate clearly with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes




- Follow all safety regulations, including proper operation of heavy equipment and adherence to traffic laws

Skills

- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for the vehicle type
- Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and other industrial machinery safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and logistics operations
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and documentation accurately
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and maneuver freight as required

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
