The Career Foundation is currently seeking a reliable, flexible, and hardworking Kitchen Helper / All-Rounder on behalf of one of our employer partners to join a busy quick-service restaurant team in Milton.

We are hiring a dependable and motivated Kitchen Helper / Food Service Associate for a busy quick-service restaurant in Milton.

This is a permanent, long-term part-time position. Applicants must be available to maintain a consistent work schedule throughout the year, including Thursday and Saturday evenings. This role is not suitable for individuals seeking temporary, seasonal, or summer-only employment.

Location: Main St E & Thompson Rd S Intersection

Schedule:

Minimum 20 hrs per week

Thursday and Saturday evening availability is required over the long term. Additional shifts to be scheduled based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with general kitchen preparation and food assembly
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including electric slicers (training provided)
- Support cooking, packaging, and food prep tasks as required
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and service areas
- Assist with customer service when required (order support, basic interaction)
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety guidelines




- Support overall restaurant operations and team needs as assigned

Requirements

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced food service environment
- Ability to safely handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs
- Comfortable communicating in English with customers and team members.
- Adaptable availability, including evenings and weekends based on business needs and schedule discussions
- Willingness to learn and take on multiple roles within the restaurant
- Food Handler Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain it (support can be provided)

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

- Previous experience in food service, kitchen helper, or fast food environment

Pay: $17.60 per hour
