The Street Sweeper Operator is responsible for operating street sweeping equipment to clean streets, parking lots, and other public areas. The operator will be required to follow a set route and schedule to ensure that all areas are cleaned in a timely and efficient manner. The operator will also be responsible for cleaning the equipment and performing routine maintenance.

Responsibilities:

- Operate street sweeping equipment to clean streets, parking lots, and other public areas.
- Perform daily inspections and pre-trip logs.
- Follow a set route and schedule to ensure that all areas are cleaned in a timely and effective manner.
- Clean the equipment when required.
- Perform routine maintenance on the equipment, including checking fluid levels, changing filters, and replacing worn parts.
- Report any issues with the equipment to the supervisor.
- Ensure that all safety procedures are followed while operating the equipment.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and submit reports to the supervisor on a daily basis.

Requirements:

- Valid G license with clean driver’s abstract.




- 3 years of commercial driving experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and follow a set route and schedule.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Flexible, dependable, and hardworking.
- Physical ability to operate equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions: The Street Sweeper Operator will work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The operator will be required to work early morning or late-night shifts to avoid heavy traffic. The operator may also be required to work weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
