Job Title: Excavation Labourer
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: $52,000 per year
Reports To: Operations Supervisor, Sunset Excavation
Location: Kitchener, Ontario
This role involves supporting storm, sewer, and water installation projects while working safely outdoors alongside operators and crew members.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with excavation, grading, backfilling, and underground service installations.
- Perform physical labour including shoveling, raking, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, and compaction equipment.
- Keep job sites, tools, and vehicles clean and organized.
- Follow all health and safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid G-Class driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Previous construction or excavation experience is an asset but not required.
