We are looking for a Flatbed Tow Truck Operator who is extremely safety-conscious to join our team. Tow calls are consistently provided to you by our dispatch center and no chasing is involved. We move vehicles for auctions, insurance, dealerships, body shops, various commercial and private individuals, as well as providing service with some roadside assistance programs. If you like keeping busy and active, like problem solving, being of assistance to people, working by yourself and enjoy the outdoors, this job is for you.

Responsibilities: Training will be provided

- Be familiar the local laws and ordinances regarding towing and the proper way to tow a car
- Be able to work with apps on your phone to receive and manage calls and map out trajectories to be efficient with time & fuel
- Be attentive to details such as addressed, phone number, plate & vin numbers
- Be able to follow instructions carefully
- Assist with roadside services such as tire changes,



unlock and boost in a safe manner with expertise
- Be courteous, in person and on the phone, as to maintain and build positive relationships with our customers. You are the face of the business.
- Have some knowledge of hours of operation and log books
- Keep a clean driving record
- Be at work on time, do a proper circle check every morning
- Be willing to perform some light maintenance of the truck and equipment we provide.
- Be willing to work 10-12 hour shifts
- Be willing to work some evenings, overnights and some weekends but not all.
- Expect the unexpected.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vars, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- Commercial driving: 1 year (preferred)
