Duties

- Measure, cut, and install various types of siding materials such as vinyl, fiber cement, or wood, following project specifications and blueprints
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to secure siding panels onto building exteriors
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, or removing old siding to ensure proper adhesion of new materials
- Apply caulking around windows, doors, and seams to create weather-tight seals and prevent water intrusion
- Lift heavy siding panels and equipment safely while maintaining proper posture to avoid injury




- Read blueprints and technical drawings accurately to determine installation requirements and layout plans
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Qualifications

- Proven experience with construction work, carpentry, or handyman tasks involving exterior building finishes
- Familiarity with hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, levels, and measuring tapes
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical instructions effectively
- Experience with caulking techniques for weatherproofing exteriors
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of blueprint reading to ensure precise installation according to design specifications
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety protocols and quality craftsmanship
