Duties

- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport freight efficiently from origin to destination while ensuring cargo integrity
- Use forklift and other heavy equipment to load and unload freight securely at various locations
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle, including brakes, tires, lights, and other critical systems; perform basic automotive repairs as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage logs, and freight handling records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen issues
- Assist with freight handling by securing loads properly and verifying shipment accuracy before departure

Skills





- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and cargo securing techniques
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot vehicle issues on the road
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and long-distance driving
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, clients, and team members
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road

Pay: $6,000.00-$90,000.00 per month
