Duties

- Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to store specifications and safety standards
- Ensure all meat products are handled with proper food safety and hygiene practices
- Package meat products efficiently while maintaining presentation quality
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Assist customers by providing knowledgeable service and answering questions about meat products
- Follow proper food handling procedures during all stages of food preparation and packaging
- Support inventory management by organizing stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies

Skills





- Prior experience or familiarity with the food industry, particularly in meat cutting or butchery
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to operate knives, saws, and other butchery tools safely and effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food preparation, packaging, and presentation standards
- Kitchen experience is a plus, demonstrating comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance

Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
