General Labourer - Fabrication Department

About the Chance

We are hiring General Labourers to join a busy manufacturing facility in Mississauga that specializes in products and components for the door and window industry.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with the potential for permanent hire. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who have previous fabrication experience and are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Once hired permanently and upon successful completion of the company's probationary period, employees will be eligible for company benefits.

Job Duties

You will be working in the Fabrication/Finishing Department, helping prepare and finish newly manufactured window and door frame components.

Responsibilities include:
Grinding and smoothing weld marks on metal frames
Sanding and finishing surfaces to ensure a clean, professional appearance
Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy
Cleaning frames and removing dust or debris after grinding
Using hand grinders and other hand/power tools safely and effectively
Drilling holes into frames as required
Moving materials throughout the work area
Performing repetitive production and fabrication tasks
Following work instructions, samples, and production specifications
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation
Assisting with additional manufacturing duties as required
Mandatory Requirements

To be considered, candidates must:




Have fabrication experience clearly listed on their resume

Submit an updated resume

Have experience using hand and/or power tools

Be comfortable in a manufacturing environment

Have strong attention to detail and quality

Be able to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

Be able to stand for extended periods

Be able to lift up to 50 lbs when required

Be reliable, punctual, and committed to good attendance

Be looking for a long-term opportunity

Monday to Friday
Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Full time hours
