Our Corporate Office, conveniently located in Vancouver with easy access to transit, is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our collaborative and fast-paced team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role works closely with site leadership, schedulers, and the People and Culture Team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for our growing organization.

What You'll Do
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple sites, supporting approximately 300+ employees,
ensuring payroll is completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records and information within the payroll system.
- Review and verify payroll transactions for accuracy and compliance.
- Administer vacation, sick leave, and other accruals, performing regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate year-end payroll activities, including T4 preparation and related reporting requirements.
- Ensure payroll practices comply with applicable collective agreements, employment legislation, and internal policies.
- Administer employee benefit programs in accordance with organizational policies and collective agreement requirements.
- Collaborate with site teams, managers, and employees to provide timely payroll support and resolve inquiries.
- Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and process improvements.
- Support ongoing system enhancements and contribute to operational efficiencies within the payroll function.
Who You Are

You bring:
- Minimum 2 years of payroll or related accounting experience.
- Experience processing payroll in a multi-site and/or unionized environment.
- Experience administering employee advantages.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational, time management,
and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while meeting strict payroll deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A customer-service mindset and ability to build positive relationships with employees and site teams.
- Adaptability and openness to change in a growing organization.
- A proactive approach to learning new systems, processes, and legislation.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential employee information.
- Experience with Payworks or other payroll processing systems is a requirement
- Knowledge of payroll-related government remittances, filings, and reporting requirements.
- Experience working within the healthcare, seniors living, or not-for-profit sector.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
