At this time, the company is seeking a Project Controls & Claims Manager to join our team for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension (ECWE) project in Mississauga, supporting the successful execution of this major infrastructure initiative.

Position Summary

The Project Controls & Claims Manager will support the ECWE Project Management team in the areas of planning, schedule analysis, project reporting, and claims management.

The role will focus on analyzing project schedule and performance information, identifying key delays, risks and contractual implications, and translating them into clear and effective narratives for the Client, Executive Committee (ExCo), and senior management.

The position requires a strong understanding of project scheduling and Primavera P6; however, the primary focus is on schedule analysis, reporting, contractual strategy, and claims rather than the day-to-day maintenance of the project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze project schedules, progress, critical paths, milestones, delays, and key project risks.
- Prepare clear project narratives, progress reports, and executive-level presentations for the Client, ExCo, and senior management.




- Identify potential delays, changes, and events that may create contractual entitlement or claims.
- Prepare and coordinate claims, notices, contractual correspondence, and supporting documentation.
- Support delay and impact analysis and ensure that relevant project events are properly documented.
- Coordinate with Planning, Commercial, Contracts, Engineering, Construction, and Legal teams on schedule and claims-related matters.
- Support Project Management in Client meetings, claim discussions, negotiations, and key project reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong experience in planning/project controls, change orders and claims on major infrastructure or construction projects.
- Good understanding of Primavera P6, critical path methodology, delay analysis, and construction scheduling.
- Experience preparing project narratives, claims, contractual correspondence, and senior-management reporting.
- Strong analytical, written communication, and contractual/commercial skills.
- Experience on major transit, tunnelling, or civil infrastructure projects and within a Joint Venture environment is an asset.

Pay: $170,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
