Rocky Senior Housing Council requires a reliable individual with 7-days/week availability to remove sidewalk snow throughout the winter season, at Mountain Sunset Manor, an independent seniors living building in Caroline.

Responsibilities:

- Remove snow and ice from sidewalks using shovel/ leaf blower/ice chipper/ salt

- Safely operate a gas leaf blower, shovel and ice chipper (training provided)

- Work independently and reliably clear snow

Duration of contract and schedule:

This is a seasonal contract position that starts immediately and lasts until April 30, 2027. The work schedule depends on amount and timing of snowfall occurrences.

Location:

Mountain Sunset Manor, 5020-51 Avenue, Caroline.

Requirements:

- Aptitude for friendliness and a caring attitude towards seniors





- Must have a transparent vulnerable sector / criminal record check.

- Ability to work in cold and inclement weather conditions with physical stamina

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

-Must supply and wear weather-appropriate clothing

-Must have a reliable method of transportation to Mountain Sunset Manor

Wage:

On Call pay of $25/ week for the duration of the seasonal contract and hourly pay of $26, for time spent removing snow.
