1. Cook – African Cuisine

About the Role:
Join the award-winning Flavours Cuisine & Catering, Calgary’s leading African restaurant, known for authentic West African and Nigerian dishes. We’re seeking a skilled Cook who can bring passion and creativity to our busy kitchen.

Responsibilities:

- Learn,Prepare and cook African meals such as jollof rice, egusi soup, suya, grilled meats, and other regional dishes
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Assist with menu planning and recipe consistency
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of experience cooking African or international cuisine
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Able to work flexible shifts – days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

2. Server – African Restaurant / Food & Beverage Attendant

About the Role:
We’re also hiring professional Servers who love food, culture, and great service! You’ll represent the Flavours experience, serving our guests with warmth and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Welcome and seat guests, take orders accurately,



and ensure prompt service
- Share menu knowledge to help guests explore African dishes and drinks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Handle cash and POS transactions responsibly
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years’ restaurant experience
- Valid ProServe certification
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Team player who thrives in a high-volume environment
- Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic about hospitality
