We curate elevated wellness experiences that honour balance, nature, and simplicity. This role sits at the intersection of guest experience, operations, and team leadership. You’ll be a steady presence on the floor, ensuring the spa runs smoothly while creating a warm, anticipatory experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

- Welcome each guest with warmth and quiet confidence, seamlessly managing check-ins, waivers, and locker assignments through our booking platform.
- Serve as a knowledgeable guide to contrast therapy, confidently educating guests on the hot–cold–rest cycle so they move through each ritual with intention, safety, and ease.
- Respond to questions, special requests, and service recovery moments with calm professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
- Maintain a serene, impeccably presented reception space that reflects our Japandi-inspired aesthetic and elevated brand ethos.

Operational Oversight

- Monitor and maintain all amenities and systems across the facility, proactively adjusting temperatures, water chemistry, and operations in strict accordance with Alberta Health Services standards.
- Uphold the highest standards of pool maintenance to ensure a safe, seamless guest experience at all times.
- Operate with precision behind the scenes, maintaining immaculate cleanliness through discreet, invisible operations that preserve the serenity of the spa environment.
- Execute detailed opening and closing protocols, ensuring the spa is pristine, balanced, and impeccably prepared before the first guest arrives.

Team Player





- Model best-in-class service and professionalism during each shift, contributing positively to team morale and guest experience.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with fellow Hosts to ensure seamless shift flow, timely task completion, and consistent service standards.
- Remain attentive to break timing, shift transitions, and shared responsibilities, supporting the team to ensure all operational standards are upheld.

Retail & Product Enthusiast

- Take initiative to deeply learn our brand story and product portfolio, developing confident, informed product knowledge that translates into meaningful guest conversations.
- Proactively introduce and recommend retail products to every guest, thoughtfully connecting their in-spa experience to at-home rituals that extend the benefits of contrast therapy.
- Maintain organized retail displays and inventory levels, ensuring visual merchandising reflects our elevated aesthetic while supporting sales performance.

Administration & Reporting

- Process payments accurately and securely.
- Complete daily water chemistry logs, incident reports, and maintenance documentation in line with spa SOPs.
- Escalate facility or guest issues promptly to the Spa Manager when needed.

Housekeeping & Flow Support

- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility throughout the day, attending to all areas between guest services to uphold our elevated standards.
- Oversee continuous laundry turnover between guests,



ensuring linens and robes are consistently refreshed and ready.
- Execute thorough circuit resets between intakes, preserving a seamless, serene flow for every arriving guest.

What you will bring

- A genuine passion for wellness, with a curiosity for spa, hydrotherapy, and hospitality best practices
- 2+ years of front-of-house experience in hospitality, spa, or fitness environments, with a track record of excellent guest care
- Demonstrates a natural leadership presence — steady, supportive, and able to positively influence peers with clarity, confidence, and calm.
- A sharp eye for detail, from water temperature readings to perfectly folded robes—nothing slips past you
- Robust problem-solving skills and confident communication, whether in person, by phone, or over email
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays as business needs evolve
- Standard First Aid & CPR certification and Pool Operations Certification is an asset
