Seasonal Labourer

Purpose & Scope:

As Seasonal Help (non-unionized), you will be responsible for various tasks related to the production and packaging of fresh produce. You will work as part of a team to ensure the quality and safety of our products, as well as the efficiency and cleanliness of our facility.

Responsibilities:

- Perform and oversee the grading, trimming, packing and sealing of product in Custom & Prepack
- Handle all produce and material in a safe manner to prevent damage and waste
- Communicate and co-operate with staff
- To put away all items and supplies when finished
- To keep area clean, tidy and organize
- Cleaning of the Distribution Centre and grounds
- Perform all duties in an accurate, safe and efficient manner
- Handle weights up to 50 lbs.
- Adhere to all company procedures and policies
- To strive to achieve the company’s mission and goals
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Labourer work experience
- Valuable written and oral communication skills




- Courteous and friendly
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have a high attention to detail
- Physically fit to perform tasks required
- Must be bondable

Working Conditions and Position Specifics:

- Must be physically fit to perform tasks required
- Must be able to handle weights up to 50 lbs.
- Must have ability to work at various heights
- Ability to work with loud noises
- Tolerance for cool temperatures
- All staff are required to wear steel-toed shoes.

Rate of Pay: Minimum Wage
Shift: Days, Evenings, Overnights

Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 per hour

- Winnipeg, MB R3H 0R5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
