Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental office team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional service while managing front desk operations. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and experience with electronic medical records systems. Duties

- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process at the front desk.
- Schedule appointments efficiently while considering patient needs and office availability.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems such as Epic or Dentrix.
- Handle incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage appointment confirmations and reminders.
- Process patient payments and insurance claims, ensuring all information is accurately recorded.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients.





Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental or medical office is preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems; experience withTracker is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment is essential.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care are crucial for success in this role

Hours are

MONDAY: 10-7

WEDNESDAY:10-7

THURSDAY:9-6

FRIDAY: 9-5

SATURDAY:9-3

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
