Northline Cladding Systems delivers complete building envelope solutions — design-assist, engineering coordination, procurement, fabrication coordination, and installation — for commercial, institutional, and multi-residential projects across Canada. We're seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Cladding Estimator to join our team and drive the success of our projects from the ground up.

In this role, you'll assess cladding and façade project costs, prepare comprehensive estimates, and collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors across our full range of scopes — including metal wall panels, ACM/ACP, curtain wall, rainscreen, EIFS, phenolic and fiber cement panels, insulated metal panels, glazing, and building envelope systems. Your expertise will help ensure competitive pricing, efficient execution, and consistent quality across every project we bid.

Duties

- Develop detailed cladding and façade estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and scope of work using industry-standard estimating software such as PlanSwift
- Prepare estimates across Northline's full scope offering — cladding systems (ACM/ACP, metal wall panels, EIFS/stucco, phenolic, fiber cement, architectural wall panels, insulated metal panels, aluminum plate, custom cladding, and substructure), envelope systems (rainscreen, exterior insulation, air & vapour barrier, recladding/renovation, sheet metal flashing & trim, thermal insulation, sealants & joints), and glazing systems (window glazing, commercial window systems, curtain wall)
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors,



and suppliers to negotiate pricing and secure competitive bids for cladding panels, curtain wall, rainscreen systems, and related materials
- Prepare comprehensive cost proposals including labor, materials, equipment, access/scaffolding, permits, and contingency allowances
- Review architectural drawings and façade specifications thoroughly to identify installation challenges or cost-saving opportunities early in planning
- Coordinate with project management teams to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions, material lead times, and project timelines
- Assist in bid preparation by compiling documentation and ensuring accuracy for submission deadlines
- Support project execution with ongoing cost analysis and adjustments throughout the construction lifecycle
- Proven experience in cladding or façade estimating, with a solid understanding of cladding systems, materials, and installation methods
- Proficiency in PlanSwift estimating software
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from cladding suppliers and subcontractors
- Ability to interpret complex architectural drawings, façade specifications, and technical documents accurately
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of construction safety standards, building codes, and regulations relevant to cladding and envelope work
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels
