Auto West BMW is looking for a Workshop Controller/Dispatcher to join our Service Team. Reporting to our Service Manager, your primary responsibility will be to control workflow in the shop from work orders written by Service Advisors to ensure that the shop is maintaining high productivity and vehicles are being repaired efficiently to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practices, maintain policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
- Work closely with Shop Foreman to organize employee shifts, coverage and workshop capacity.
- Scheduling and dispatching repair orders to technicians, according to customer requests or specifications.
- Relaying work orders, messages, and information to or from technicians, service advisors and other team members.
- Determining workloads of technicians and juggling multiple deadlines with ease and efficiency.
- Tracking and monitoring of efficiencies and productivity of technicians.

Main Requirements

- Previous dealership service advising or dispatching experience is required.
- Luxury automotive experience is preferred.




- Working BMW technical knowledge is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer skills required and knowledgeable in a computerized customer environment.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
