EPC Canada is looking for an AZ Driverfor its explosives distribution and blasting operations at its Côté Gold site in Ontario.

Work Location

IAMGOLD - Cote Gold Project, 500 Sultan Industrial Rd, Gogama, ON. P0M 1W0

Main Responsibilities

- The transport driver is responsible to ensure that all existing regulations and codes are followed;
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicles, including checking and filling fluid levels;
- Ability to manoeuvre on the road and on customer's property in a sage manner;
- Always maintain the cleanliness of the inside and outside of the vehicle;
- Must maintain a valid license and TDG card;
- Ability to accurately document inventory levels on the vehicle and proper complete driver's electronic logs and delivery paperwork;
- Proper handling of hazardous materials in accordance with regulations related to transportation and storage;
- Preform specific duties to support site operations and customer deliveries;
- Any deficiencies related to the vehicle or processing equipment must be reported the same day to management and prepare a work order.





Required skills and competencies :

- Driver's license: Class AZ;
- Experience: 2-3 year experience in driving a tanker truck;
- Having a valuable driving record;
- No legal impediments related to the job;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Productive without compromising quality;
- Be punctual, diligent, reliable and enjoy teamwork;
- Demonstrate good customer service skills;
- Must be flexible to customer demands and basic vehicle maintenance;
- Considerate personality to adapt pleasantly in the presence of customers
- Knowledge of health and safety standands and compliance
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Reliable, trustworthy, and dependable
- Understand company policies and procedures
- Defend and promote EPC values, standards, and image
- Must successfully complete a criminal reference check
- Languages required (spoken/written): English
