To assist the Manager of Public Works in the administration and operation of effective, effective and responsible Capital Projects, Water Treatment Plant and Distribution, Roads, Custodians, and Building Maintenance human in accordance with the application policies and procedures of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded Girst Nation (CNUFN) by:

- Ensuring the Public Works and its programs, plans and procedures are consistent with the vision, mission, management philosophy, standards, organizational and program policies established by the CNUFN Council.
- Ensuring the organization is operating in compliance with all relevant legislation and policies, including the Canada Labour Code, The Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and all policies as established by the CNUFN Council.
- Ensuring continuity of the Department by acting as the Manager of Public Works during any absences.

Qualifications

- Post Secondary diploma in a related area or Certification in Construction Trades
- Five (5) years related experience
- Solid background in computers with specific knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Results of a current criminal reference and vulnerable sector check
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
