- Ethical Practices: A commitment to ethical business practices and integrity in all operations.## What You’ll Be Doing:• Program, debug, and commission PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and motion systems • Troubleshoot and optimize robotic cells, including vision and force monitoring systems • Support design, build,



and startup of automation equipment and assembly lines • Modify existing production equipment and develop current automation solutions • Configure industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, etc.) • Develop or modify LabVIEW-based programs for automation systems • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams during design and implementation • Support equipment commissioning at customer sites and provide technical support • Prepare technical documentation including manuals, setup procedures, and schematics • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance## What We’re Looking For:• Technical diploma or degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience • 5+ years of experience in an automation or controls environment • Expert knowledge of PLC programming (Omron NJ, Allen Bradley) • Experience with robot programming (Fanuc, Yaskawa, KUKA) • Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems • Experience with industrial controls, automation systems, and troubleshooting• Must be able to train the first few weeks at our Ancaster facility with the eventual move to Mississauga.## Bonus Points If You Have:• Experience with LabVIEW programming and applications • Knowledge of SQL databases and related systems • Experience with electrical design tools (e.g., EPLAN) • Experience in automotive manufacturing and IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 environments## How to Apply:**Apply online at www.johnsonelectric.com - We can’t wait to meet you!
