Key Responsibilities
- Remove and install automotive interior upholstery components.
- Repair tears, rips, and wear in leather, vinyl, and fabric upholstery.
- Cut and sew new upholstery materials to match original patterns or custom designs.
- Install padding, foam, and reinforcing materials as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of finish and durability.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Upholsterer or in a similar trade.
- Proficiency in working with various automotive upholstery materials (leather, vinyl, fabric).
- Skilled in using industrial sewing machines and upholstery tools.
- Ability to read and interpret patterns and design specifications.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality craftsmanship.
