Role Description The Bartender is a part-time, in office role based at Da Vinci Centre in Thunder Bay, ON. This role is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following recipes and smart serve service guidelines. The Bartender will handle cash and electronic payments and follow opening and closing procedures.

Additional responsibilities include setting up and stocking the bar, maintaining cleanliness, monitoring inventory, complying with health and safety regulations, and collaborating with the event and kitchen teams to support smooth service during functions.

Qualifications





- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage service, including drink preparation, menu familiarity, and safe handling practices.
- Proficiency in Cash Handling and point-of-sale systems to process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Demonstrated Bartending skills, including mixology basics, drink presentation, and responsible alcohol service.
- Valid Smart Serve.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry supplies, and work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or event venue is an asset but not strictly required.
- Available for both scheduled shifts arranged in advance and day-to-day operational needs, with flexibility to adjust availability when required.
