The Master Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical and electrical systems while providing technical leadership and support to other technicians. This role requires expert-level knowledge, a strong commitment to quality, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. 40 Hrs Per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults efficiently and accurately
- Carry out advanced servicing, maintenance, and repair work in line with manufacturer and company standards
- Lead by example in workshop best practices, safety, and quality control
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior technicians
- Perform detailed fault-finding using diagnostic equipment and specialist tools
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards, within agreed timeframes
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and diagnostics performed
- Stay up to date with recent technologies, manufacturer updates, and industry developments
- Support quality checks and final inspections where required
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop
