Overview
PacWest is looking for Bulk Materials Unloaders to support day-to-day material handling for construction-related deliveries and distribution.
Responsibilities
- Unload incoming deliveries and move products/materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
- Load and stage materials for shipment or distribution.
- Operate equipment used to load, unload, and move materials, including dollies and hand trucks.
- Transport and distribute materials throughout the warehouse and on-site work areas.
- Provide on-site customer service by assisting with loading, moving, and organizing materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safe lifting and equipment practices when handling heavy materials.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Fast-paced environment.
- Physically demanding work with heavy loads.
- Frequent standing, walking, and carrying materials.
- Attention to detail is important.
- Comfortable working on-site as part of a warehouse and customer-facing setting.
- Able to work safely while performing physical tasks and moving heavy materials.
Requirements
- English language proficiency.
- Secondary school completion or equivalent experience.
- Experience is an asset.
Eligibility
