Carpenter – Journeyman or Apprentice

Journeyman: $35.00–$45.00/hour, based on experience

Apprentice: $20.00–$35.00/hour, based on experience

TYB Enterprises Inc. is a multi-generational construction company specializing in custom home construction and quality craftsmanship. The company works closely with clients, designers and engineers to complete high-quality, detail-focused projects throughout the Algoma region.

TYB Enterprises Inc. is seeking a motivated Journeyman Carpenter or Registered Apprentice to join its team. The successful candidate will assist with framing, finishing and general carpentry duties on custom residential construction projects.

- Perform framing, finishing and general carpentry work
- Measure, cut, assemble and install building materials
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans




- Work collaboratively with other trades and team members
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Ensure work is completed safely and within project timelines
- Maintain a clean and organized job site

- Journeyman Carpenter certification or registration as a Carpenter Apprentice
- Residential construction experience preferred; custom home experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in a construction workplace
- Safety-conscious and able to follow workplace procedures
- Valid G driver’s licence required
- Must be able to reliably travel to job sites located between Echo Bay and Thessalon
