It is with this view and vision that we are currently seeking a Team Lead – Shipping to join our distribution center evening team.

The Team

Lead – Shipping is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Shipping team, ensuring orders are accurately and efficiently prepared and shipped on time. The role provides direction, support, and coaching to team members while monitoring productivity, quality, and compliance with established processes. The shift for this position is 3:30pm to 12:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise shipping operations, including order preparation, packing, and loading.
- Verify order accuracy and compliance with packing slips and shipping documents.
- Ensure compliance with shipping deadlines and safety standards.
- Coordinate with the Transportation and Customer Service teams to resolve issues.




- Monitor packaging quality and ensure pallets are properly secured.
- Train, coach, and support team members on shipping procedures and equipment use.
- Monitor key performance indicators, including preparation times and shipping accuracy.

Key Skills

- Knowledge of WMS and TMS (Transportation Management System) systems.
- Ability to effectively manage priorities and urgent situations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good understanding of loading requirements and transportation constraints.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
