Take on a challenging role as a Technician I with the City of Greater Sudbury, focusing on automotive maintenance and repairs. This permanent position is within Fleet Services, requiring flexibility in shift work. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include inspecting, repairing, and testing various pieces of equipment.

You will also oversee the Helper and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Your expertise in automotive repairs will be instrumental to the success of the operations. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct inspections and repairs on automotive equipment
- Manage and direct the Helper's workflow
- Follow CGS Health and Safety policies diligently
- Carry out automotive repairs with independence
- Document all service and maintenance activities Requirements:
- Completed secondary school (Grade XII)
- Must possess an Automotive Service Technician Certificate (310S)
- Experience with diesel equipment preferred
- Valid Class “DZ” driver’s licence required
- Master Mechanics tool kit valued at no less than $2,000 Contribute to the effective maintenance of fleet equipment in Sudbury.
