PROJECT COORDINATOR / CIVIL ENGINEER

Job Summary

Our client, a well-established construction and infrastructure firm, is seeking a motivated Project Coordinator / Civil Engineer to support infrastructure, utilities, foundation, and construction projects in Canada.

The successful candidate will coordinate project activities, work closely with contractors and consultants, monitor project progress, and help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable Canadian standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate day-to-day project activities, site operations, and project schedules.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, documentation, and cost tracking.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.




- Support site inspections and ensure work is completed according to approved plans.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and applicable building codes.
- Assist with resolving technical and site-related issues.
- Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation.
- Support project managers throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, utilities, drilling, piling, foundations, or construction projects.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project.
- Robust understanding of construction processes, project coordination, and site operations.
- Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- P.Eng. or EIT designation in Canada is an asset.
- Candidates should have the appropriate authorization to work in Canada.
