You’re confident interpreting financial statements, market data, and real estate dynamics.

You exercise sound judgment and stay grounded in both risk discipline and business objectives. Lead the underwriting and adjudication of multifamily mortgage applications, analyzing borrower strength, property performance, and market conditions Develop credit recommendations and approval packages that support informed decision‑making Monitor and manage a multifamily mortgage portfolio, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities Track portfolio performance, risk exposures, and key indicators to support ongoing oversight Act as a key liaison with CMHC, ensuring compliance with insured lending and securitization requirements Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to execute transactions effectively Contribute to process improvements that enhance underwriting quality, efficiency, and overall client experience Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field ~7–10 years of progressive experience in commercial lending, credit adjudication, or real estate finance ~ Advanced financial analysis and modelling capabilities ~ Ability to evaluate complex credit structures and risk scenarios with confidence ~ Professional designations (CFA, CPA, AACI, or similar) are considered an asset Bridgewater Bank is committed to providing an inclusive, respectful, and accessible workplace.
