In this role, you will craft high-impact messaging, manage key fundraising events, and develop fundraising strategies that resonate with the audience. Teamwork with the editorial and marketing departments will be central to your success. Key Responsibilities:

- Write and edit communications for fundraising initiatives
- Organize The Walrus Gala's online/live auction
- Expand online giving and membership programs
- Collaborate with editors and management on audience engagement
- Create direct mail and digital fundraising strategies Requirements:
- Proven experience in fundraising or campaign management
- Excellent copywriting for digital engagement
- Knowledge of audience segmentation and database management
- Familiarity with online optimization and analytics tools
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience Contribute to meaningful journalism by developing supporter relationships at The Walrus.
