Job Location

- Based in Calgary, AB, work in various locations in the Calgary area; transportation provided by the employer, travel expense paid by the employer if work is outside the city

Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal, full-time (30 to 60 hours per week, weather dependent), Early Morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime required

Wage: $33.33 – $37.00 /hour (based on skills and experience); salary increases based on performance, per company’s policy.

Duties

- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
- Set and adjust concrete forms to the required dimensions, levels, and grades
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
- Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- Must participate and adhere to all safety rules and procedures
