What You’ll Need
- Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core with specialty modules relevant to underground construction, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of underground mining or underground construction experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, civil prints, and standard work procedures
- Robust personal safety record and commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to meet all site access, medical surveillance, and respirator fit-testing requirements
- Canadian citizenship or written authorization to work in Canada and current residency in Canada
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Additional Common Core specialty modules (shotcrete, concrete, equipment operation)
- Trade skills such as carpentry, pipefitting, welding, or cutting and burning
- Rigging and hoisting training, overhead crane operator certification
- Experience with underground mining contractors on development or construction projects
- Experience at remote or fly-in/fly-out project sites
