Position Summary

At On Side, our Contents Technician Movers play a key role in helping clients safely transport and protect their belongings throughout the restoration process. This hands‑on position involves heavy lifting, loading and unloading household contents, operating a 16′ moving truck, and transporting items between client homes and our warehouse. Through secure work practices, attention to detail, and excellent customer service, Movers help bring peace of mind to clients during a challenging time.

- Salary Range: $21-$24/hour

What You’ll Do

- Safely and carefully transfer cargo using company utility van and 16′ moving truck
- Pack, catalog, and clean contents from disaster‑affected areas
- Perform pre/post‑construction and structural cleaning
- Clean fabrics, textiles, and various surfaces
- Use Encircle Restoration Software for inventory

What You Bring

- 1+ year of experience in cleaning and moving
- Physically fit, capable of repeated heavy lifting and safety‑conscious
- Tech‑savvy (comfortable using apps/software)
- Valid G driver’s license and clean abstract
- Ability to work long day time hours (10-11 hours typical)




- Positive attitude and robust work ethic
- Strong empathy and a customer‑focused mindset
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organizational and communication skills
- You genuinely enjoy working with people in a team environment
- Clear criminal record
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal

Of Note:

Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on‑call work could be a requirement. If this was needed you would work regular weekday hours and participate in a rotating after‑hours on‑call schedule.
