INNSKILL is a provider of Identity and Access Management and cybersecurity solutions. We work with businesses of all sizes, helping them protect their digital assets and stay compliant with regulatory requirements. Our clients trust us with critical parts of their infrastructure, and the quality of our support has to match the quality of our technology. That is why we are opening a remote Customer Support Specialist position on a contract basis.
In this role you will be the first point of contact for our clients. Your day to day work will involve answering questions by email, chat and phone, helping customers with account access and product questions, and walking them through basic troubleshooting steps. When an issue requires deeper technical knowledge, you will document it properly and pass it to our technical team, making sure the customer knows what happens next.
Most of the questions you will handle are straightforward, and we will teach you everything specific to our products during a paid onboarding period.
We are not looking for a superhero. If you have worked with people before, whether in retail, hospitality, a call center, an office or any other client facing role, you already have the most key skill for this job. We care about clear written and spoken English, patience, and the ability to stay calm and helpful when a customer is frustrated.
Everything else, including our ticketing system and the basics of our security products, is trainable. You do not need a degree, certifications or previous experience in cybersecurity. An interest in technology is welcome but not required.
Since this is a remote position,
you will need a reliable internet connection, a computer you are comfortable working on, and a reasonably quiet space for calls. You must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
This is an independent contractor engagement. The rate is CA$21 to 24 per hour depending on your background, paid every two weeks against a simple invoice. The schedule is flexible and can be arranged around Canadian time zones, which makes this role a good fit if you are combining work with studies or other commitments. We provide paid training, a structured onboarding process, and a team lead who is actually available when you have questions instead of leaving you alone with a knowledge base.
For people who perform well, there is a realistic path to grow. Many of our support specialists move into technical support, IAM operations or security analyst roles over time, and we prefer promoting from within rather than hiring externally for junior positions. If you have ever thought about getting into the cybersecurity field but did not know where to start, this is a practical entry point with a company that works in this space every day.
The hiring process is simple. Apply here on LinkedIn, and if your profile fits, we will invite you to a short video call with our support lead. No multi round interviews, no take home assignments. We usually make a decision within a week.
INNSKILL welcomes applicants of all backgrounds, experience levels and locations across Canada. If you are reliable, good with people and looking for stable remote contract work, we would like to hear from you.
