Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and other security tools to detect and respond to threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
- Investigate security incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
- Provide security awareness training to employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or in a similar security role.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and SIEM solutions.
- Knowledge of common cyber threats and attack vectors.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH are a plus.
