Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Data/ reporting Analyst - SQL, Power BI, Fraud/ CIAM to support root-cause analysis and post-incident reporting with clear, concise data narratives. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

- Ingest and transform data from multiple sources (e.g., BigQuery, SQL Server, CSV) using SQL and Python.
- Build and maintain Power BI reports, and dashboards for CIAM fraud metrics, trends, and patterns across channels and geographies.
- Track and report CIAM KPIs and produce weekly/monthly insights decks with trend analysis and operational recommendations.
- Support root-cause analysis and post-incident reporting with clear, concise data narratives.
- Execute ad hoc queries to answer business questions around control performance, user journeys, and fraud patterns.

Must Have Skills:

- 2-4 years of hands‑on experience as a Data Analyst or Reporting Analyst
- Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets.
- Practical experience with Power BI and building dashboards.




- Experience working in Agile teams and tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Exposure to Python, BigQuery or similar cloud data warehousing.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

- Experience in Fraud Analytics, CIAM, or Cybersecurity analytics.
- Prior global financial institution or large‑scale data environment experience.

Soft Skills Required:

- Detail‑oriented with strong communication skills and analytical thinking.

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as computer science, engineering, technology, statistics, mathematics or a related field is required.
