Now Hiring: Dietary Aide (Full Time)

Location: Casa Mia – Vancouver, BC

Work Hours: 10:30am-6:30pm (Saturday to Tuesday).

About Casa Mia

Casa Mia offers 90 long term care beds, consisting of primarily single occupancy rooms. Many with expansive views.

This estate home features three stories with a grand dining area, ballroom, recreation areas and large outdoor patios on each floor. Casa Mia provides our residents with a heritage estate setting and contemporary best practice care.

Casa Mia works in partnership with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority.

What You’ll Do

- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen and food storage area.
- Supporting the Cook/Chef in meal and snack preparation to ensure timely service.




- Assisting with appropriate portioning while respecting residents’ dietary needs, preferences, dislikes, and allergies.
- Maintaining records related to grease trap cleaning and maintenance.
- Ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met in both kitchen and dining areas for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Participating in infection control meetings as required (approximately every two months).

What You Bring

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in food service or a related role (health care or institutional setting preferred).
- Valid Food Safe Level 1 and WHMIS certification.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to perform the duties of the position.
- A caring, respectful, and resident-focused attitude.
