Pedersens Event Rentals is looking for a personable, detail-oriented Event Rental Sales Consultant to join our Vancouver team.

For more than 75 years, Pedersens has helped bring events of every size and style to life. We work with event planners, caterers, designers, venues, corporate clients and individuals to provide rental products and expertise for weddings, celebrations, corporate events and other memorable occasions.

This is an ideal chance for someone who loves the event industry, enjoys working directly with clients and has a natural ability to turn ideas and conversations into solutions.

The Role

As an Event Rental Sales Consultant, you work directly with clients to understand their event needs and guide them through the rental process from the initial inquiry to a completed order.

You’ll help clients select the right products for their event, update sales orders and quotes, answer questions about rental requirements and logistics, and identify opportunities to recommend additional products or solutions.

This is a client-facing sales role that combines relationship building, event knowledge, customer service and strong attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

- Respond to incoming sales inquiries by phone and email
- Consult with clients about their event needs, venues and rental requirements
- Recommend rental products and solutions based on event style, size, budget and logistics
- Prepare, update and manage client orders and quotes
- Assess delivery requirements and other logistical considerations for successful execution
- Build strong relationships with clients, event planners, caterers, venues and other industry professionals




- Develop strong knowledge of Pedersen’s rental inventory and help clients navigate available options
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Pedersens team to ensure accurate and seamless events for our clients
- Provide responsive, professional service throughout the client experience

Who We’re Looking For

You are confident speaking with clients, comfortable managing multiple inquiries and details at once, and genuinely enjoy helping people find solutions.

Experience in event rentals, event planning, catering, hospitality, venue sales or another client-facing sales environment would be considered an asset.

The ideal candidate brings

- Previous sales and/or client service experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Confident making recommendations and guiding purchasing decisions
- An ability to build rapport and long-term client relationships
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and managing multiple orders or projects simultaneously
- An interest in events, design, hospitality or entertaining
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly

Knowledge of Vancouver-area venues and the local events industry is an asset.
