Your role will significantly impact health and safety practices within the mining sector. This full-time, permanent position requires you to manage safety standards during 12-hour shifts in the Fort McKay/Wood Buffalo Region. You will support site teams in hazard recognition and compliance, ensuring that health, safety, and environmental aspects align with industry regulations and best practices. Key Responsibilities:

- Manage safety compliance across mining operations
- Assist in minimizing hazards and improving workplace safety
- Advocate for OH&S; initiatives and legislative adherence
- Provide consistent HSE guidance to staff
- Conduct safety investigations and share learnings Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant HSE experience
- NCSO credential from ACSA needed
- Robust understanding of safety regulations and compliance
- Experience in change initiatives and Root Cause Analysis
