This role is ideal for Medical Office Assistant seeking Canadian clinical exposure while working within a non-regulated support role under physician supervision.The successful candidate will support both clinical operations and administrative workflows, contributing to efficient, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome, check-in, and prepare patients for appointments
- Perform vital signs, height, weight, BMI, waist circumference, and urinalysis
- Assist with injections (vaccines, B12, medications) within scope and under medical directives
- Support ECGs, swabs, rapid tests,



point-of-care testing, dressing changes, and other clinical procedures as trained
- Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms
- Support referrals, e-faxing, patient follow-ups, and EMR documentation
- Provide front desk support, scheduling, and patient communication
- Maintain confidentiality and follow PHIPA and infection prevention standards

Qualifications & Skills:

✔️ 6 month to an year of experienece working in EMR systems (Accuro EMR )

✔️ Experience in family practice, primary care, community clinic, or ambulatory care preferred

✔️ Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience is an asset

✔️ Strong patient communication and compassionate bedside manner

✔️ Professional, organized, reliable, and detail-oriented

✔️ CPR Level C/BLS certification (or willingness to update)

✔️ Medical Office Administration/Assistant training or relevant healthcare experience preferred
