You’ll be part of a destination that includes the Glacier View Lodge, dining outlets, retail, and the world‑famous Glacier Adventure and Skywalk. Staff live on‑site with accommodations and three hot meals per day.Housing and meals will be a taxable benefitEnd‑of‑season retention bonus up to $1.00/hrROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESSupport, train, coach, encourage the Facilities cleaning teamAct as the “on the floor” daily leadership for the Facilities cleaning teamFocus on operational excellence, employee training and development, service standards and consistenciesPerform established cleaning duties on a daily basis for all guest and team member areasKeep emergency exits and hallways clear of debrisEnsure cleaning checklists and maintenance logs are maintained and up to dateMaintain garbage collection areas and help facilitate an effective recycling programPreform minor painting and plumbing dutiesCoordination of daily and weekly employee schedules and breaksRecognizing, and identifying, business needs in relation to employee schedulingResponsible for inventory and stock-take of equipment and suppliesReport equipment and supplies to the Maintenance Manager for re-orderProvide administrative support to the Maintenance Manager, including supplies ordering and SOP DevelopmentPerforming quality assurance checks and coaching staff members as requiredDaily cleaning duties for the Icefield Centre including: general public, office and washroom areasRetaining all public areas clean and tidy to a professional standard and qualityMaintaining cleanliness of the Receiving and Supplies RoomCardboard bailing and organization of building recyclingOther duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSPrevious leadership position experience, or a willingness progress into a leadership positionA passion for coaching and developing employeesExcellent employee and public relations skills and a friendly/cooperative natureStrong team player, organization and communication skillsMust get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social)
