The Head

Caretaker plays a crucial role in ensuring that the school’s environment is safe, clean, and functional. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will manage cleaning staff and perform various facility upkeep tasks. The role requires hands-on experience in building operations, effective communication with staff, and adherence to safety guidelines to foster an optimal learning atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:

- Report maintenance progress to school management
- Inspect premises for safety and cleanliness
- Oversee and mentor caretaking personnel
- Manage outdoor grounds maintenance tasks
- Conduct regular equipment checks and repairs Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 12 or higher
- Two years relevant experience in facilities management
- Valid 5th Class Power Engineers’ Certificate
- Solid English communication skills
