Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Financial Manager to join their team in Kimberley. This hybrid role will be instrumental in overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial activities.
Responsibilities include managing accounting functions, financial planning and analysis, cash flow management, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of contributing to the financial health and growth of the organization while managing tasks both remotely and in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and ensure strong financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CA(SA) or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and South African tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems;
experience with hybrid work tools is beneficial.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
