Join our dynamic construction team as a Flagger and play a vital role in ensuring safety and smooth traffic flow at work sites. As a Flagger, you will be the frontline responsible for directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic around construction zones, helping to prevent accidents and maintain an organized work environment. Duties

- Direct and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic using standardized hand signals, signs, and flagging equipment to ensure safety for workers and the public
- Set up appropriate warning signs, barricades, cones, and safety devices to alert drivers and pedestrians of ongoing construction activities
- Communicate clearly with construction crews, equipment operators, and drivers to coordinate movements effectively
- Monitor the work zone continuously for potential hazards or unsafe behaviors and report incidents immediately
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area by removing debris or obstructions that could pose risks
- Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to uphold a secure environment for everyone on site
- Support other construction activities as needed,



including assisting with heavy equipment operation or paving tasks if qualified

Skills

- Strong understanding of traffic control procedures and flagging techniques
- Ability to operate basic traffic control equipment such as stop/slow paddles, flags, or signs confidently
- Construction experience is preferred, especially familiarity with heavy equipment operation or paving processes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and ensure clear instructions are given
- Attention to detail in setting up safety zones and monitoring ongoing activities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid certification in traffic control flagging (if applicable) or willingness to obtain necessary certifications prior to employment
