The Accounting Administrator will primarily be responsible for maintaining accounts payable and reviewing/reconciling accounts. This includes entering supplier invoices, entering expense claims, coding credit card activity and gathering and filing associated receipts, and associated account reconciliations.
This is a fractional role requiring an estimated 15 hours per week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Payable
Trade accounts payable
- Processing vendor invoices in the accounting system
Employee expense claims
- Finance coding approval, ensuring correct HST applications and allocation to projects where appropriate
- Process employee expense claims in the accounting system
Credit card transactions
- Gather and file credit card receipts to support credit card transaction activity
- Code credit card transaction activity in the accounting system
- Reconcile credit card statements on a monthly basis
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- 2+ years of related experience;
- Previous experience with Quickbooks Online is considered a strong asset;

- Robust Microsoft Office skills with a working knowledge of excel;
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines;
